New restaurant in Truckee! Tangerine Bistro, same owner as Great Gold. However, this cool spot is not Italian – it’s classic French fare. Opened on Hallowe’en night, it’s at the west end of Historic Downtown Truckee, next to Burger Me. Right now it’s open Tuesday through Saturday at 5:00 PM. With an extensive French wine selection, its menu includes lovely offerings of oysters, paté, cassoulet, escargots, French onion soup, beef tartare and brie en croute…for a sampling.
