Greetings Fellow Life Travelers:
Truckee’s invaded with pollen! Yikes, each year it seems worse than before. Of course it comes just as one sets up the deck furniture, pillows now covered in towels for protection. This annual event, sometimes in two waves, lasts for about 3 weeks. Leave car in the driveway for 20 minutes and it’s coated in yellow. And now, Tahoe’s in construction season. However, the weather is glorious and we ‘natives’ are thrilled to enjoy a few months of warm weather and outdoor living. As we’ve often said, we came for the winter and stayed for the summer – over 50 years ago! (That’s hard to believe!) With real estate my passion, let’s see what took place this last week.
Residential Real Estate – week 5/31 – 6/6
- Tahoe Sierra MLS – North/West Shores & Truckee. New Listings – 36; Escrows – 25; Solds – 11
- Incline Village/Crystal Bay MLS. New Listings – 19; Escrows – 7; Solds – 7
- East Shore, NV MLS. New Listings – 3; Escrows – 1; Solds – 0
- Reno/Sparks MLS. New Listings – 160; Escrows – 127; Solds – 82
Tahoe Sierra had two big listings – Martis Camp at $17 million and a North Shore lakefront at $16.85 million. Crystal Bay had a Stillwater Cove condo come on at $6.5 million. The lakefront market has new inventory as reported last week but, so far, no new escrows. Did a new lifestyle video for my beautiful Rubicon listing this week; will send the link when it’s finished.
