Greetings Fellow Life Travelers:
Well, a little blast of snow the other night! Didn’t stick on the deck but there was evidence on the mountains the next day. Turtle-neck time for sure, with temps in the low 60s for the next while. This year’s sold-out Haunted Tours in Truckee are in the books, and now costumes for Hallowe’en are starting to surface. Visited the Nevada Museum of Art this week, fascinated by the exhibit of the Sea Dragons of Nevada – giant sea creatures known as ichthyosaurs that lived 250 million years ago in the waters of an ancient sea covering what is now land. The new and beautiful Grand Hall exhibit – Fallen Fruit: The Power of Pollinators (and other living things) – will be in place for six years, part of the ongoing expansion of the museum. Beautiful sightings of the Aurora Borealis over Tahoe along with the comet this last week too. Now for sightings in real estate.
