Tahoe Update

Greetings Fellow Life Travelers:

Spring has arrived in the Tahoe region.  No indication of snow for at least two weeks.  Real estate activity is picking up with encouraging rates settling in at 6% – sometimes a hair lower – and dry roads make it easy for candidates to make the trip up. Got a call on Friday from an Incline Village owner wanting to look at one of our lakefront listings.  And, we had two prospects come to see our Fleur du Lac listing on Friday and Saturday.  Now let’s look at the numbers for this last week.

Residential Real Estate – week 2/28 – 3/6 

Most of the numbers this week are wimpy, so we’ll see if renewed showings result in more escrows.  Martis Camp had a $12.995M listing sell for $12.195M, and Reno had a $5.3M listing come on and a $4.199M go to escrow.
