You may be aware of the recent developments concerning the lawsuit regarding real estate practices.  A settlement has been reached by The National Association of Realtors (NAR) and is awaiting court approval.  If approved by the court, the settlement requires two changes to go in effect in July. Those changes would be:

• The commissions offered by the Seller to be paid to Buyers Agents will no longer be allowed to be published in the MLS.
• Buyer’s agents will be required to have a written buyer’s representation agreement prior to showing any property.
