Tahoe Update

Greetings Fellow Life Travelers:

Another glorious week of gorgeous color in our trees!  So far, weather hasn’t interrupted the offering that’s been holding for a month, although we may get hit this weekend with rain/snow.  Last Sunday my colleague, Amie, and I had a great blast in the SF Chronicle – article attached.  Knights of the Vine had its annual dinner at Spindleshanks in Tahoe Vista –the chef had a special dinner for us that was fabulous.  Highly recommend for value as plentiful menu offers great food and prices are reasonable.  And the setting on the golf course is lovely for al fresco dining when weather allows. Now let’s see what happened in real estate this week.

Residential Real Estate – week 10/18 – 10/24

  • Atmospheric River:  In anticipation of what may be an Atmospheric River on Saturday, Tahoe Fund tells us that they contain as much water as the outflow of the Mississippi River.
  • Tahoe Trails.  With emphasis on outdoor recreation, enhancing our trail systems is an ongoing effort to protect what makes Tahoe special.  This season, several nonprofit organizations received grant funding to continue that work – restoring trails, educating visitors and nurturing a culture of environmental stewardship.
