Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Trinkie Watson, a real estate broker with Chase International (“we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit trinkiewatson.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and inquiry forms: your name, email address, phone number, and any message you write. Each form also has an optional checkbox that lets us contact you by phone, email, or text about your inquiry. We record whether you checked it and when.
- Tahoe Update mailing list: your email address, if you sign up.
- Property search tools: if you register for saved searches, listing alerts, or similar tools on our property search pages, the information you enter there, such as your name, email address, and search preferences.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. This can include:
- your IP address, browser and device type, and approximate location based on your IP address
- the pages you view, how long you stay, the links you click, and the website that referred you
We use this information in three ways:
- Analytics: to understand how visitors use the Site. We use Google Analytics for this.
- Visitor identification: we use technology from a third-party data provider that may match your browser or device to contact information the provider already holds, such as your name, email address, or postal address. We use this to understand who is interested in our listings and services, and to follow up or market to people who may be interested.
- Operating the Site: to keep the Site working, secure, and fast.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and provide real estate services
- To contact you by phone, email, or text when you have asked us to
- To send the Tahoe Update and other market information, if you signed up
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it
- For marketing and to follow up with people who show interest in our listings and services
- To comply with the law and with real estate licensing and brokerage requirements
Text messages and phone calls
We contact you by phone or text only if you check the optional contact box on a form or otherwise ask us to. How often we message you depends on your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or your consent to receive texts with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
How we share information
- Chase International. Our brokerage receives and keeps records of inquiries as part of providing real estate services and meeting brokerage recordkeeping requirements.
- Service providers. Companies that help us run the Site and our business: website hosting, email delivery, analytics, our property search provider, and the visitor-identification provider described above. They may use the information only to provide their services to us or as their own terms allow.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others.
- Business transfers. If our business is reorganized or transferred, information may be transferred with it.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some analytics and visitor-identification technologies on the Site may count as “sharing” or “selling” personal information under some state privacy laws, including California’s. You can opt out at any time; see “Your choices” and “Your privacy rights” below.
Cookies and your choices
- Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Some parts of the Site may not work correctly if you do.
- Google Analytics: you can opt out with Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us.
- Texts: reply STOP.
- Opting out of sale or sharing: email us at twatson@chaseinternational.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”
Your privacy rights
California residents. You have the right to:
- know what personal information we have collected about you, and how we use and share it
- ask us to delete your personal information
- ask us to correct inaccurate personal information
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- not be treated differently for using any of these rights
Nevada residents. You may ask us not to sell certain personal information that we collect about you.
How to make a request. To make a request, email twatson@chaseinternational.com or call 530.582.0722. We will need to verify your identity before acting on your request. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request for you. Residents of other states may contact us the same way, and we will respond as their state’s law requires.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it to respond to you, provide our services, and meet our legal, licensing, and brokerage recordkeeping obligations. After that, we delete it or keep it only in a form that does not identify you.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure, though, so we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us.
Children
The Site is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Links to other websites
The Site links to other websites, including our brokerage, social media, and video sites. Their own privacy policies apply to those sites, not this one.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
